I started coding when I was working in financial services. I spent 6 years in the industry but was able to pivot when a freelance opportunity came up, which allowed me to build static websites and configure CMSs for clients. Afterwards, I completed a software engineering bootcamp at the Flatiron School and went on to become a Full Stack Engineer on a bond trading team. I have always enjoyed using technology to build things and discovering new tech to learn.
